5 Days Wildlife and Primates Safari

Day 1: Zziwa Rhino tracking –Murchison Falls National Park

Depart early today. You will drive towards northern Uganda through farm lands, vast open savannahs, firststopover will be at the Zziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking. Head to Masindi town for lunch and in the afternoon you will be transferred to Murchison falls national park arriving in the late afternoon. Check into your lodge for relaxation, dinner andovernight.

Day 2: Game drive –Boat cruise

Early rise today, we need to catch the cats most of which are nocturnal before they go back to their hiding. A chance to spot the big 4 that is the Lions, Leopards, Cape Bufallo and elephants among others. In the afternoon you will have a 3 hours boat ride on the Victoria Nile and later return to your lodge for the night.

Day 3: Top of the falls –Transfer to Kibale National Park

After your early morning breakfast, you will be taken to the top of the falls. A beautiful view of the river Nile squeezing itself in a narrow gorge of about 9metres and pouring with a thunderous force about 40 meters down, it formsan ever present rainbow beautiful rainbow. You will then embark on a long scenic journey through farm lands, beautiful landscapes, farms, local communities. Lunch will be in a town called Hoima and driving through hills, vast tea plantations and forest cover, you will arrive at your lodge in the evening, check in, relax, have dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Chimp tracking –Bigodi community walk

In the morning, you will go chimp tracking in the forest of Kibale. It is also known as the primate capital of theworld because it has over 13 species of primates found here. With your ranger guide you will mount a search following trails in the forest, on spotting them, you will be allowed an hour with then and then return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit a local community home to the great blue turaco and other bird species, take a swamp walk through the communities, interact with them and in the evening return to the lodge.

Day 5: Transfer to Kampala/ Airport

Today is our final day, but before we exit the forest and head for the airport, we will visit a tea plantation estate, know the A-Z of the tea experience. You will later be transferred to the airport.
